Filmmaker Trapped in a Non-Filmmaker's Body
Hey all, I’m a friend and fan of the IndieGoGo crew and I’m really excited to see them get started! Back in the day, when I wasn’t geeking out on my engineering finals, I wrote and shot a couple of shorts that were watched by all of… well let’s say about 10 people. After school, I trecked from Austin to Rochester, NY to work at Kodak’s motion picture group. I put my nerd skills to use and built color management systems for post-production facilities. Basically I got to play around all day in a lab built like a television studio. The next couple of years were kind of a haze but it involved me doing military stuff for defense contracts. After waking up from that nightmare, I moved out west to get back on track and I spent the last summer working with the awesome crew at JibJab Media. I can’t wait to start discovering new talent and to help great film projects get off the ground!
