Microphone is a film that examines the life of a comedian, Brian Walsh, who has found success in his career but is beginning to want something more. He finds just that when he meets his 15 year old daughter, Andrea, for the first time. With stylized images shot in Super 16mm film and a unique focus on character interaction, this film will take you behind the microphone of a performer searching for his life connection.
As student filmmakers at the University of North Texas, we are looking for any donations that you may be able to make in order to take our film to a professional level. We are planning to shoot in early April of 2010.
