Filmmaker and artist Matthew Charles Hall is the founder and CEO of MyFilmIs.com, a website for independent filmmakers to showcase and share their films for profit. The site has already claimed the support of various accomplished industry artists and is personally endorsed by Oscar winning producer Michael Phillips (THE STING, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, TAXI DRIVER).

With his production company, Hall Legacy, Matthew has produced and directed multiple promotional films and advertisements for various companies and institutions. He also produced and directed several films including IN THE LAND OF PHANTOMS (Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, 2008), DARK HORIZON, a French documentary short entitled 100 MOUNTAINS (which premiered in Cannes 2008), and the sci-fi horror thriller HUNTING GROUNDS which is being distributed internationally through Lombardo Films.

Matthew is currently producing the MyFilmIs.com Legacy Master Series, an exclusive interview series that features established artists in the industry. Members of this series include such talents as Academy Award nominees Lawrence Paull (production designer for BLADE RUNNER, BACK TO THE FUTURE) screenwriter Carl Gottlieb (JAWS, THE JERK), composer and editor John Ottman (SUPERMAN RETURNS, THE USUAL SUSPECTS, X-MEN 2), actress Dee Wallace (E.T. THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL) and animator and director Don Bluth (THE LAND BEFORE TIME, AN AMERICAN TAIL).

Hall's latest projects include writing and directing the family feature film DAVID'S DINOSAUR, shooting this summer, as well as producing, directing and even composing various projects that come his way. In his spare time, Hall occasionally acts and sings on stage in the realm of musical theater. He has performed at such venues throughout the world, including the famed Hollywood Bowl and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
