Maternidad la Luz is a 60-minute documentary that tells the story of two young women as they become midwives in El Paso. Kennasha and Jessica are modern women on a journey toward the ancient profession of midwifery at Maternidad la Luz, a transformative space which gives birth to babies, mothers and midwives. Maternidad la Luz is the personal story of women into womanhood as they change the world by changing the way babies are born.
