Mary Ratliff

About Me

 

Mary Ratliff is a MFA candidate at American University in the Film Department. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002 from Hollins University with a major in Film and Photography and a minor in Art History.

She has been both a professional writer and a photographer, working for a daily newspaper in Southwestern Virginia before relocating to Reston, Virginia.

In the last year, Ratliff has worked on two feature films. She worked as Set Costumer on the independent feature Below the Beltway and Assistant Script Supervisor on The Dead Ones. Both are in post production.

Ratliff also served as First Assistant Director on Cookies, which received the TIVA-DC Peer Gold Award for Student Dramatic Production in 2009.
