Burn a man to set him free, drown a woman to prove her innocence, and inflict agony to purify the soul. A mans greatest predator is another mans faith. It is a notion which mankind refuses to realize.
SYNOPSIS
MALICE is our feature length action/thriller set in Scotland during the early 1500s. This film is about a young Druid, Alexander, who decides to single handedly take on the Inquisition and free his countrymen slowly dying within the belly of the enemys fortressthe witchs prison. In a cruel twist of fate, the Druid is forced to execute the very people he has come to save.
MALICE really does have it allintrigue, grand betrayal, tragic romance, dark heroic themes, and a skewed sense of good and evil. This film promises to be the next Braveheart, and with your help, we can deliver on that promise.

MALICE's Impact
When I wrote Malice I wanted to do more than just tell a story about the Inquisition, I wanted to remind people about the dangers of religious intolerance. The prison in Malice represents an amalgam of Inquisition operations and outlines the tragedy faced by Pagans, Christians and Muslims alike. I wanted to tell the story from a Pagan point of view, no matter how uncomfortable it might be for non-Pagans to hear.
Its important to say, that the money raised here will go toward critical startup cost, such as concept art, recruitment, production design, and much more. I feel that it is also important to say, nothing is going to prevent us from making this movie. Its has an important message, and relates to our everyday struggle, even in today's world, and therefore needs to be made.
What We Need & What You Get
Reaching our goal here is critical, but not exhaustive. The funds needed to make the film are rather larger than what can be raised in a fundraiser, but the money that is raised here will get us that much closer to the people and organizations that can finance the full amount. The more we can raise here to help offset the cost associated with production needs like costume design and creation, set design and construction, casting, and more; will make our project more attractive to investors. The better we do here, the better MALICE does out there.

YOUR DONATION:
We need your help to start the process. Your donations will help us with critical up front costs such as creating concept art, costume design, securing named talent, and so much more. Sites like Indiegogo give independent filmmakers the opportunity to overcome those critical first steps and move our projects forward.
So whether you donate $1 or $1000, or whether you donate to our project or someone elses, just know that you're keeping alternative filmmaking alive. Every last one of us appreciates it.
Please note, many of the rewards are based on the film success in obtaining funding.
HERE ARE A FEW SAMPLES OF THE LIMITED ZOMBIES SAMPLES PROVIDED BY EDS. These hand crafted props are available to the first 25 people donating $300 or more.
Other Ways You Can Help
Money is a necessity, but we are happy to accept other donations, such as clothing. There are a number of communities our there that take pride in renaissance fairs and medieval reenactments. Clothing (garb) donated by such groups, light the costs. The more donated, usable costumes, the less we have to invest in new once. Plus, new costumes need to be broken in, donated costumes are already broken in. Holes, warn, missing sleeves, we will gladly take them.
Another good donation would be props. wood mugs, pottery, or iron works that pass for medieval are also welcomed. There are a number of ways that you can help, and we thank you for it.
