Our Story
"If you want to be a filmmaker, make films."
Steven Spielberg
We are Dan Hanna and Steve Armour, recent USC film school grads, and veteran actor Michael Bofshever ("Breaking Bad", "United 93"). We've come together to tell the story of Kurt, a man facing prison in a few hours, who draws his estranged daughter Nikki into a midnight search for his lost dog Gracie. The problem? There is no Gracie.
It's a story of lies, old wounds, and the desperate hope that love can save us from ourselves.
Our Hopes
We want to tell universal stories that enrich the lives of those who see them. Our goal here is a professional-grade short film that looks stunning and grips audiences from the first frame. We hope to screen it in major film festivals.
We see "Losing Gracie" as a step toward more ambitious projects: feature films that will give audiences the kind of intensely meaningful experiences that great cinema has always given us.
