Our Story
In June 2010, I launched my blog (www.lexgarey.com) with little to no direction. For awhile, I talked about creativity but soon grew tired of regurgitating information I no longer cared about.
Sometime at the beginning of 2011, a new door was opened and I began to talk about the two greatest principles of the Universe, flow and connection. As I dove further into this work, my relationships on Twitter became more meaningful and connected with many people from around the globe.
A special group of these people come from down under, living in Melbourne, Australia and some are putting on a conference called This Is Mindful. In June 2010, I launched my blog (www.lexgarey.com) with little to no direction. The moment I heard about it, I wanted to go. But how could I? As a new entrepreneur/musician, Im not bringing in very much money. And certainly not enough to pay for a flight across the globe.
And then something magical happened.
These wonderful people said they would like to help fly me over there to attend the conference and play music with them.
Honestly, Im still in shock. Why me? Me, really? But we cant do it alone.
I need your help to make this dream a reality.
What We Need & What You Get
So heres the deal, Im trying to raise $2000 to get to Australia. $1500 of this will go directly to the flight and the remaining $500 will be used to pay for This Is Mindful and passport fees.
As a token of my appreciation, Im also giving away several awesome things. The first is my unreleased ebook, The Reality of Being One, a book on flow, connectivity, and the Universe. While Im down under, Ill be writing and recording some music, so Im also giving away a recording of that music. And finally, Ill be sending personal, handwritten postcards from Melbourne directly to you. Take a look at the sidebar to see exactly how this works.
Other Ways You Can Help
Sing! Tweet! Write! Throw confetti from the rooftops with the URL to this page! Or how about balloons? Ooh, yeah. Balloons are rad.
Even the simple act of tweeting about this project would be incredible. Or, if you feel inclined, write a blog post about this amazing story.
Anything you can do to spread the word would be wonderful. I would eternally grateful. It would mean the world, no, it would mean everything if you can donate to this cause.
