Left
Alone is off to a great start on the 2011 Film Festival Circuit and YOU can
help it continue!
We are so proud of how the film has already engaged and moved audiences and we want that to grow throughout the country and the world. As many of you know my husband, Seth Boggess, and I are a young family with a beautiful 1 year old daughter. We need YOUR HELP to take advantage of the opportunities and success that this heart-felt film is bringing to our lives.
Please enjoy the THANK YOU GIFTS to the right that will be distributed at the end of May. If you are not in a position to give we understand. Either way we ask that you please FORWARD this request to your contacts and endorse Left Alone as a worthy project. We thank you for your gratitude and consideration.

Submitting for consideration:
It is extremely important and expensive for a film to be on the U.S. and International film festival circuit. Film festivals are the path to success for an independent movie. There are thousands of festivals to choose from and each festival has a submission fee of $20.00-$100.00. With over 4000 short films in competition for these 2011 slots we must be persistent with our submissions.
$700 of the Goal Amount will be allocated to the spring submissions to seek to become an Official Selection for more festivals in the United States and Internationally.
Attending the festivals:
Attending festivals is so important for emerging filmmakers. This is where we find future collaborators, writers, financiers, distributors and most importantly audiences to follow our next project. We created 37 jobs by our 15 minute short. We are excited about how many jobs we will create in Chicago and the Midwest with our feature film projects. Presenting Left Alone to audiences and film industry veterans is providing the ground work to ensure those feature film projects will flourish.
$2000 of the Goal Amount will be allocated towards the cost of attending our upcoming powerhouse festivals in California and Cannes. I can assure you if we exceed our Goal Amount of $2700 that the funds will continue to nurture the film festival journey of Left Alone. We hope we are able to continue to attend the festivals that have been so kind to program the film.
