Laura attended two art schools, including the Pratt Institute in New York City, and three universities before graduating Cum Laude from California State University Hayward with a bachelors degree in Art, focus in Digital Graphics.
Laura has focused her career towards educational design and has taught classes and designed curriculum for the Bay Area Video Coalition, Sonic Training and the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California Berkeley. She has also written curriculum for the Adobe Train the Teacher Program.
Although Laura does commercial projects, educational and social justice projects are more satisfying to her as an artist and a human being.
Laura is a creative to the core. She is a unique problem solver with significant experience in both digital and traditional techniques. Having never taken the route A to B, shes stored a great many weird little tidbits to be called up at any random moment. These tidbits combined with her desire to learn, learn and then learn some more have given her the ability to plan, design and develop multimedia art projects that satisfy her creative side and make a difference.
