2. Due to several cases of multiple contributions per person, some have mentioned they don't require the combined number of issues (usually 10) from the set Perk Packages. If you let us know how many issues/t-shirts you want when you make a donation, we can make a simple adjustment to the package we send you.

Ladies & Gentlemen!

"Ladies & Gentlemen" is the brainchild of myself (Richard Worth) and my buddy Jordan Collver (a real Canadian!). It's a silver age style comic about a group of Victorian crime fighters. Whilst we have worked together on other projects, most notably a horror short called "The Land of All Sorts" (that has yet to see the light of day) and a comic card-trick called "Sleight of Hand" (that appeared in the fine pages of The Sorry Entertainer Anthology... it's good, go check it out) this is our first full-length comic. It's going to be the knees of the bees, but dont take our word for it, donate and see for yourself.

The Team

Our story's ragtag team consists of a roguish spy called The Peppered Moth; a ne'er-do-well alcoholic and former stage magician who goes by the name of Hex Vincente; a mute bruiser and his psychotic wife, The Lady and the Gentleman; and a portly Northern engineer called Ned.

What We Need & What You Get

We are attempting to raise 375 in order to help cover the printing cost of around 225 full sized black and white comics. Any spillover will go towards various merchandise like buttons, leaflets and T-shirts, but the main concern is to get the comics themselves published and read by you fine folks.

What your contributions will get you:

5-- A copy of issue one and your name in the Special Thanks section, and a poster-sized copy of "Sleight of Hand," our short story featuring the Hex character.

10-- 3 copies of issue one (why not give the extra two to friends, family, a beloved and intelligent pet or a highly influential comics publisher), "Sleight of Hand," the five page horror short "Land of All Sorts," and your name in the Thanks.

20-- 5 copies of issue one, all the treats from the 10 donation PLUS an exclusive Ladies & Gentlemen T-shirt seen in the Gallery section (make sure to tell us exactly how skinny and perfectly formed your bodies are when you donate).

We are hoping to launch at the Thought Bubble Sequential Art Festival in Leeds on the 19-20th of November. Hopefully we'll be able to raise enough funds to actually have something on our table there....otherwise that might be awkward and slightly odd. See you guys there!

Please Note: All the donation stuff is in dollars (USD) on this site but rest assured our goal is in pounds (GBP). IndieGoGo will automatically take care of any currency exchange for you, so you can put your calculators away. Also kindly ignore the spelling mistakes in the Perks section when selecting your contribution... they are permanent blunders.
