About Me

Kristi Stephens Adams began her career as a documentary still photographer. Over the course of her career her passion for storytelling fueled the expansion of her practice to include cinematography, film and video production, and digital post production. Her recent work includes narrative shorts, a video installation at Yerba Buena Center of the Arts, and the research and production of her feature length documentary about urban edible gardening, From The Ground Up. Her professional credits include Strange Culture Production Manager, Additional Camera Operator (feature, official selection, Sundance 2007), The Future of Food (feature documentary) Distribution and Sales, Oil On Ice Distribution, Website Updates (feature documentary), Mission Movie Associate Producer, Script Supervisor, Festival Submissions (feature), Top Chef Assistant Art Director (TV series), as well as, TV commercials, educational videos, and pilots.
