Hi, I am William McDonald, together with John Norman and Danielle Dorsey we are Suckerfree Games.  We started Sucker free Games in 2009.  John Norman and I found that we were both interested in creating video games.  John couldn't come up with ideas for the games and I couldn't do the programming.  So we decided to work together.  As we were developing our first game Dungeons, we decided to bring my long time writing partner Danielle Dorsey onto the team.  After the initial development of Dungeons we created a spin off project entitled, "Kobold's Quest!"  This is our third year, working on Kobold's Quest and we just need a slight push to hit our June deadline.

The Impact

If we reach our funding goal our game will be launched on XBLI in late June and for the PC about three months later.  We have been funding this game with personal finances.  Additional out of pocket funding is no longer an option.  We are at a point now where the game can be completed.  But without outside funding it will take longer to release KQ, PC porting will be delayed and Win7 phone porting may not happen.   

What We Need & What You Get

We need funds to polish the game's menu/GUI and pay for our creator club membership to release the game on XBLI.  Anything beyond our goal will go towards porting to the WP7 phone and PC versions.

What you can get for pledging is a copy of the PC game when it is released, your name added to the credits as a contributor, a Kobold's Quest pin pack, beta access, a signed mini poster, your name prominently displayed in the credits, a signed poster, a Level / Town named after you, the opportunity to design a peasant or level for the game and be credited as a level designer.
