Advocate for Native American health rights
Kitty Farmer has a life-long interest in the well being of children. She holds a masters degree in psychology and child development and taught in rural communities where she saw first hand the toxic combination of racism and poverty.
As a literary agent, she placed books on the New York Times and placed the title, Crossfire, with Oliver Stone, that led to the creation of the film, JFK.
Kitty is now collaborating with Donald Warne, MD, MPH, Oglala Lakota to change the health crisis occurring among American Indians. The goals of the solution-oriented documentary film Whats in the Heart occupies her entire focus.
