King Philip’s War will be a dramatic feature film about the first and bloodiest AngloNative American conflict in North America. The screenplay about the rebellion of Philip the Wampanoag and his allies against the United Colonies of New England in 1675 covers a critical episode in the history of European colonization of the Americas.

Alderman’s Story, a period epic set during King Philip’s War in New England in 1675, was awarded first prize at the Rhode Island International Film Festival Screenplay Competition in 2005. Alderman’s Story is the working title of the King Philip’s War screenplay project..
