A young werewolf wakes up on the floor of his cage on the morning after the full moon. The ghost who keeps him company in his basement apartment asks him if hes feeling better. I cant keep doing this, he replies.

Matt is a werewolf desperate to find a cure. He enlists the help of Holly, a witch, who helps navigate him through the underbelly of a magical New York City full of untrustworthy gypsies, lost little ghosts, sketchy warlocks and hipster vampires.

Killing the Dog reinvents the werewolf story for the 21st century, without superficially modernizing it; exploring the mythology in new light, combining classic characters in an organic way, neatly avoiding those clichs that weve all become so familiar with since the recent surge in vampire fiction, and telling the story with only in-camera optical effects — absolutely no CGI!
