Eli Meed and his family enjoyed a quiet, peaceful life on their organic farm in central Pennsylvania. That was until their property was foreclosed on and repossessed, forcing them to relocate to a dead-end town.

Now, two years later, the once jovial Eli has fallen into a deep depression. His family is distant despite their now cramped existence. He feels desperate, dangerous, like a caged animal.

As the family begins a trip to a protest rally, Eli puts into motion a plan to exact revenge on those he feels are responsible for taking his livelihood and birthright. He is determined to make himself an example of the pain and suffering a family goes through during financial crises.

This film, while extremely character-driven and subtle, will highlight issues in society that are rarely talked about, yet prolific. Issues such as the dangers of overly-generous lending practices, the preservation of farmland, and the importance of supporting local growers. We hope to present a touching story about a family that slips through the cracks, and the consequences of overlooking those in need.
