Let's Try This Again
This will be the second time through this campaign. Last time we raised $1500, but we're still $2000 short of our goal. We've got enough to get through colors on issue #4, but we still need extra funds in order to finish issue #5 and complete the letters for issues #2-5.
We're still offering the same perks as last time, including getting drawn into the book as a demon, human or zombie. The only change is that now instead of our major perk being getting drawn into the book as the Devil, we are offering to be drawn into the book as GOD.
Our Story
My Name is Russell Nohelty. I've got one book, Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter, that will be published through Viper Comics later this year. It's a great book but I want to keep moving forward with new comics as well. My next four issue mini-series will be KATRINA HATES DEAD SHIT. (http://www.katrinacomic.com/)
KATRINA HATES DEAD SHIT follows a badass chick who survives the Rapture and now lives in a small town full of demons, Hellspawn and a smattering of dreadful survivors.
Things are about as terrible as one would imagine after the Rapture but given the circumstances Katrina is taking not being "blue-lighted" pretty well. Even though she's got a terrible job, horrible co-workers, a leeching ex-roommate and a miserable attitude to boot things could always get worse...somehow.
Things become so dreadful for Katrina that she decides to fight back in a most extreme manner, by traveling to hell and forcing the Devil to end the Apocalypse once and for all.
KATRINA HATES DEAD SHIT is a 4 issue mini-series that gives a tongue in cheek look at how surviving the Apocalypse will suck donkey balls but it's not the end of the world.
Katrina is drawn by the uber talented Juan Frigeri (http://spadjm.deviantart.com/) colored by the amazing Thomas Bacon (http://thomasbacon.webs.com/) and lettered by the fantastic Bernie Lee (http://www.comicspace.com/blee/).
What We Need & What You Get
I'm already in production on the first issue of Katrina, but I frankly need money to keep this project going through the first issue. I'm currently in production on three books with a fourth to follow. Because I use only top quality talent and never scrimp on hiring a fantastic artist it's become too costly to keep more than one book in production at any given time.

That's where you come in. Without your help more issues of Katrina Hates Dead Shit might never happen and that would be a shame because it's a great story for any fans of Apocalyptic books, horror books, comedy books or any fan of comics young or old (though not too young). I like to say that it's Left Behind told as a comedy.
