For years, Katrina a young, professional, black diva had dismissed as nonsense any notion that using the N-word (or other expressions of racial negativity) could actually have harmful consequences. Well, . . . that was until one startling cell phone call brings her face-to-face with one of those consequences.

This disturbing moment of clarity leads her to reconsider and ultimately inspires her to transcend the negativity.
