Our Story

I am Derek Young. I have already made my first feature project that in 6 weeks will have  a review on Fangoria.com and has been screened at Scarefest the world's largest Paranormal Convention. Now I am looking to get funds for my second feature film Josie. To keep up to date on the project visit the official website where I will be listing any cast members or any other news. Here's a little about the film.

Synopsis:

              A loving couple has their second child. A little girl they name," Josie". They are so excited to get their little girl home. However, the couple has no clue what lies waiting in the future. As Josie constantly has problems the couple have no idea what to do so they turn to the husbands old friend and psychiatrist "Randy". Randy comes to visit Josie and determines she is bi-polar and after being observed over the years Josie finally turns 18 and on her birthday is arguing with her mother loses control and stabs her! Instantly Josie is transported to Randy's psychiatric facility, but no one would've guessed this would make matters worse. While in the facility one of the staff members rapes Josie sending her over the edge. She bides her time and when he tries to rape her again she kills him and escapes the facility. She returns home to kill everyone she blames for driving her to where she now is. Who lives and who dies only "Josie" will decide!.
Note: This film will be like taking a female and putting her in the role of Michael Myers but ten times more sadistic!

The Impact

What is the impact your project may have on others? The idea itself has all it needs to become a cult classic and with funds I plan to get cult names to help that happen! What if your project doesn't happen, what are the consequences? Not happening is not an option even if I have to shoot it without cult named actors I will! One way or another Josie will be seen by you. So if I don't reach my goal don't worry what I raise will help it get maid it just might end up being a lower budget!

I have a company ready to put up part of the budget and distribution up front. I need to reach my goal on this project and it will get made. The money pledged here goes to pay for actors and actresses, special effects, lighting, sound, and a DP. We also could use air miles to help pay for planes.
