John is the founding artistic director and executive producer of Weird City Theatre Company in Austin, Texas. He has acted and directed throughout the US and directed the regional premiere of i google myself by Jason Schafer for fronterafest 2008 as well as the remounted production for Capital T Theatre. Among his favorite performances include the award winning Sweet Charity (Oscar), The Important of Being Earnest (Jack Worthing), 1776 (Rutledge), Batboy: The Musical (Company), King Lear (Gloucester), and A Little Night Music (Fredrick). John is a graduate of Texas State University and a candidate for Actor Equity Association.
For Weird City Theatre, John has directed Treasure Island, Night of the Living Dead, and The Rivals. Onstage, John played Sherlock Holmes in the critically acclaimed 2009 production and Jonathan Harker in Nosferatu.
John has produced several films including Edgar Allan Poe's The Cask of Amontillado and Masters of the Universe: The Wizard of Stone Mountain. John is currently working on Masters of the Universe: The Fountain of Life and on Alvida and The Airship Pirates (A Steampunk Adventure!)
