The Life Changing Event

On October 30, 2009 JoShawn Thomas, then 4 years old was struck by a car on his way to school.  The once vibrant, outgoing and loving little boy now suffers from a Traumatic Brain Injury

The Impact

JoShawn and his family's life has changed tremendously, he is now wheelchair bound and is on his way to a full recovery.  However the recovery process is very long and could take years before JoShawn is fully mobile again.  As a result of his accident his mother had to resign her job and now is a full time caretaker for her son.  We are blessed to have JoShawn in our lives but now there are challenges that his family has to face and we appreciate your support.

What We Need

We need to raise money for a handicap accessible van and other medical equipment that is needed for JoShawn so he can go to school, his doctor appointments and rehabilitation.  Right now his mother has a SUV and has to lift JoShawn in and out of the vehicle, he is over 80 lbs and we need the van as soon as possible.  You can donate any amount there is no limit.

Other Ways You Can Help

Please tell as many people as you possibly can about JoShawn and his cause.  We thank you in advance for your support!!!  God bless!
