Our Story

Ed Venture Studios is a bright new little game studio, focused on developing classic Point & Click Adventures.

Founded last month, we started to develop our first episodic game.

Till now, there is no Publisher in sight and my team of ten has to work hard on that Game at night after our regular work. To speed things up and being Independent, we need your help.

Help us funding the First Episode.

If "Jerry McPartlin - Episode One" could be made full time, it's just a little step to convince a publisher to get Jerry on the Road.

But what is Jerry all about?

Jerry McPartlin is a Rock 'n Roll star (wannabe). He lives in a typical American town in the late 50th. With teenagers, Cadillacs & Rock 'n Roll.

Jerry has an eye on Luna, the owner of the local diner. But he never told her, because she likes his rival Johnny Lash.

The day his brother Bobby, an excellent pilot and hobby archeologist, got the job to fly a customer into the desert of Arizona, Jerry's life changes forever.

When they are attacked by strangers just on discovering a hidden room in their parents' house, and forced to leave immediately, they slowly start to realize that there is no turning back.

Jerry Mc Partlin is a rocking, exciting and funny adventure filled with Rock 'n Roll.

It has a never-before-seen graphical style. Toony geometry, mixed with realistic textures & lightning.

Jerry McPartlin is planned to be released in six episodes.

The production costs of one episode is somewhere between $65.000 and $70.000

Jerry McPartlin will be voiced over in English and German. Subtitles are planned (Italian, Spanish, French).

It will feature a rocking an rolling soundtrack, performed by one of Germany's best Rock 'n Roll bands "Hickory Cats".

The Impact

We really want do that Game. And we want to do it right. So we need to drop our regular jobs, and start working full time and heart blooded, so that the first episode could already be released this summer. Episode 2-6 are planned to be released in a two month steps.

If we don't reach that goal, we wouldn't be able to finish the first episode in the next 12-18 months.

What We Need & What You Get

So as mentioned, we need 70.000$ to produce the first episode.

The money will be spent to monthly pay the team.

And also to do the synchronization in English and German, recording the "Hickory Cats", many other little things, and to be honest: Lots of coffee.

Every single dollar helps us, reaching that goal. Even, if we shouldn't reach the entire $70.000, the Project will be done. It would just need more time. So if you'd like us to speed up and don't want to wait several month till the next Episode is ready...
