Our Story

My name is Jenny Poussin, I started my career as a model when Howard Stern complimented my looks on his radio show (from a tiny pic I had sent to a magazine) and soon afterwards I began to dabble in acting.

My love of dark fantasy made me undertake many related projects: horror, fantasy gaming, etc.

From these emerged the concept for MORGANA, a Dark Fantasy about the fabled sorceress but with a very wicked, anti-heroic dark side. This is NOT a film for kids people! MORGANA is NOT a nice person: she does what she has to to achieve her goals. Is she rotten to the bone? Not entirely, but she is no angel. And I'm not talking about the sugar coated "Hollywood" version of the anti-hero: MORGANA is one truly BAD girl.

The Impact

The good news? There is a LOT of interest out there already for this project.
A small but reputable Hollywood distributor is interested in marketing and selling it if I am able to bring them a finished product.

I have a large fan base that I can draw upon to carry the initial impetus always necessary to get the word out.

I also have many reputable friends (artists, musicians, etc.) that are willing to contribute to the project, lending their name and talent to make it happen.

Another good news is the project is well underway with a lot of material already shot (about 20mns final edited footage worth).

What We Need & What You Get

I have carefully budgeted (with industry friends that have worked in line producing) what remains to be shot, trimmed it to its leanest, made back-end deals for anything that could be deferred, and the magic number needed is 100 000$. Of this I can finance half myself. That leaves the golden number: 50 000$ I need to find.

Where is your 50 000$ going? To very concrete production needs. There won't be a cent wasted. I need to put every cent in on-screen production value. So one thing you can be SURE of: the money will be well used (actors, sound, equipment, locations I can't get for free, etc.). For those that know the BIZ: it almost all goes in the B category of the budget (below the line hard costs).

That also means your money will of course turn you into an executive producer for MORGANA (see the perks below!)

I also offer a back-end deal if MORGANA makes money. In other words: getting your money back and with interest.

Other Ways You Can Help

MORGANA can happen if we make it happen. Word to Mouth is a very strong weapon. Everybody knows somebody. Talk about MORGANA to your friends. Maybe someone is interested. I am open to cross-promotional deals if they are doable. Need a model with a well known name for your product or your corporate image? Maybe we can make a deal there! Going through an agency to get someone like me for your company could easily cost you 5000 or more. Why not invest in a film instead and get what you need for your company as an exchange of services? :)
