Jacob Mendel is a filmmaker and pioneer in the art of digital 3D filmmaking. Jacob studied film at the University of Michigan and including a study abroad at The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) and the Kyoto Filmmaker's Lab Master class in Japan. Jacob has refined a stereoscopic methodology using two HDSLR cameras with prime lenses in order to explore the possibilities of 3D independent digital cinema. Guided by a belief in depth as an artistic medium, he has shot an array of creative 3D projects including documentaries, short narratives and music videos.
