JUEGAVIVO is an anti-hero comedy written by the director Enrique Prez Him. The story is about two 20 years old guys, TITO a middle class kid and REGGIE a small time street dealer.
After a misunderstanding, they end owing a large amount of money to a gang of drug dealers. Tito and Reggie try to save themselves, with a risky plan, to steal the money of a beach mansion from a wealthy family.
But there is a problem, they underestimate the big mafia that surrounds them. In this weekend adventure they will find out
the smartest way to fight against the most powerful gangsters of Panama City.
The director of JUEGAVIVO has been working as an audiovisual artist since he has 14 years old. He has directed several low-budget short films, using natural actors.
His most recent work “Tied to a Chair” has won BEST SHORT FILM and BEST SCRIPT at ICARO’s most important Film Festival in Central America (Guatemala).
“JUEGAVIVO” is Enrique Prez feature film completely shoot in Panama. After some international workshops and markets, the final script has been revised for industry professionals. Last year we’ve got IBERMEDIA fund for Development of our project. Our budget is USD$ 400 000 and we hope to confirm 30% of finance in our region. Our characters are very particular archetypes of Panamanian society in which we all identify in one way ore another.
