WHAT MAKES THIS PROJECT DIFFERENT
|
|
Inspiration is unique because it presents a universal human experience through the voice of a young girl. The main character, Claire, faces some critical questions: "Who am I?" "How do I want my life to be?" "If I follow my path will the people I love still be there for me?" As a pre-teen, Claire is navigating these challenges of identity and independence for the first time, yet she will continue to face them in forms -- as all people do over the course of their lives. Because she continues to press forward despite her doubts and fears, she reminds viewers of all ages about the importance of being true to one's self. Claire is a self-actualization hero for all ages.
