Movie Synopsis

A young couple is arrested for a crime they didnt commit. They must endure abusive and inept police officers, crazy cell mates and a police station being turned upside down by a group of bank robbers trying to distract the cops. In trying to get out and prove their innocence they learn a bit about who they are, what they are supposed to do with their lives and the true meaning of success and happiness.

We try to make the shoots as enjoyable as possible for the actors, but they typically are fun without trying, simply because its a comedy and the scenes are pretty funny. I also have a great crew working on the shoot, namely Clint Hansen in marketing, William Bookter on sound, JR Simon on lighting, and Roger Sanderson and Sergio Campa on cameras.

What We Need

We are down to the reshoots on "Amounting to Nothing", a dark comedy written, directed and performed by some of San Antonio's top rated comics. We are helping to create an independent film scene here, and so far have a pretty incredible product. Eventually, after premiering in San Antonio and Floresville, we will be entering many indie film festivals, contests and following several paths of distribution. We have reached a point in which financing is quickly depleting, and we will be unable to finish without these funds. Watch the attached clip, and I think you will agree that this is a project worth supporting.

Other Ways You Can Help

If you can pledge a buck or two, that's awesome and you get some great rewards for pledging money. Really all we ask is that you post this clip on your facebook or twitter, or whatever, in the hopes that we can get the word spread a little further. We have a great product coming along, and this is a great chance to be a part of it. Thanks for your time guys.
