It follows four friends in NYC who live "in between" a gay world, whose cliches they don't relate to, and a straight world they don't belong to. The Impact
In Between Men has had an incredible global impact, receiving positive reviews and feedback from all over the world. Currently being watched daily in over 120 countries, the show receives email from such places as Iran, Iraq, Morroco where being gay can possibly be a life threatening existence. The show has been celebrated and written in press in Australia, Germany, Paris, Canada, and many other countries. The show's commitment to showing gay/bisexual men as human beings instead of stereotypical, charicaturish, one dimensional figures in mainstream media has led to a huge demand for a season 2 of the show. Your contributions (from fans and new fans) would not only allow us to produce even more and longer episodes, but will also allow us to continue to impact the many namelss and faceless lives around the world by allowing much of underrepresented community see their stores on screen
What We Need & What You Get
Reaching our goal would allow us to secure locations and much of the talent we need to continue, both cast and crew. In Between Men is a large scale production with vast cast and crew totalling about 70-75 people in order to achieve the show's high production value and to make it look like TV quality on the web. What you get, aside from an immeasurable amount of appreciation, is a selection of collectables from the show as well as a walk on role for the most generous of contributions. Ultimately you make a difference by helping to diversify the landscape of mainstream media.
