Our Story

We all search for it, that truly amazing love. The love of your life is considered a soul mate, the person who completes you.

But What if you found your sole mate and you could never be together.

Is a life without that love worth living?

Illusion is a Romantic Drama that follows a man who cannot be with the women he loves.

The film opens with a mans hand packing some over night items into a suitcase, followed by a large amount of money in an envelope and finally a gun.

The following scenes take place at a Beautiful winery Lodge, We see the owner of the suitcase, 55 year old Richard arriving at the lodge where he has booked the honeymoon suite, he is with a beautiful young women, Sophia. Richard has an unfriendly demine about him unlike Sophia who has a warming persona. The elderly receptionist greets them.

The next scenes are set in the exquisite winery gardens, and we watch as the characters relationship forms. In the evening they share a dance and Richard gives her a locket, which appears to have a picture of her inside it.

Later that night they make love and when room service comes by Richard is quick to brag about his new Wife.

Later yet Sophia notices the gun and the argument between them both implies he is planning on killing someone.

The next scene takes place at dawn the next day, Sophia wakes up alone, she looks straight to where the gun should be but its gone. We cut to Richard walking through the Winery Garden holding the gun.  We cut back to Sophia who spots an envelope on the bed, there is a note on the front reading Thank you for your services I almost believed you were her. We cut back to Richard who walks into a beautiful clearing. We cut back to Sophia who notices the locket on the bedside table she picks its up and now we notice the girl in the picture is not Sophia but a women very similar looking. We cut back to Richard he holds the gun in his head and shoots. We cut back to Sophia holding the locket.

The final scene is of Sophia going to the real Sophias house and giving her the locket. The only difference is the real Sophia is now 54. Richard was trying to hold onto an old image of the women he loved so much.

The Impact

The project has been sponsored by Panavision and because of that we have been given the chance to shoot on the RED MX for free but part of the deal is we must have a Professional Focus Puller and if we don't we lose this incredible opportunity. We will be spending your donations on hiring a Focus puller and on all the basic crew needs that are compulsory for any production.
