OUR STORY

Tim and Ashley went to college together and have collaborated many times before, but always while in the same country. This time, though, fate dragged Tim to Venezuela and now he and Ashley are working across the Atlantic on their new play's New York premiere.

 

I'M FROM OUTER SPACE is that new play. Written by Tim Duncheon and directed by Ashley Rodbro, it will premiere at Ars Nova, a theater for emerging artists in Manhattan, as part of this November's ANT FEST.

 

I'M FROM OUTER SPACE is about space battles, finding your place in the world, finger painting, love, Mongolian dance, and growing up.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

The show will go up on November 11 with whatever money we have. We want the show to be as polished and complete as it possibly can be. This is our chance to create something brand new from scratch, and it is your chance to be a part of the process while we build a new play from the ground up!

WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING

We need money to put the show up at Ars Nova. The money will go towards the rehearsal process (rehearsal space, printing scripts), production elements (props, costumes, sets), and travel stipends for the people who tirelessly work on the production.
