|
“I Believe” is a coming of age story about live action role players that dress up like faeries.
I Believe is film about a group of college students who stand out from the crowd, who have more than your fair share of quirks.
The most important being their unique form of escapism, unlike their peers in addition to typical college extracurricular activities like drugs, alcohol and sex. They spend the most time as Faeries, Larping in the woods.
Irony is their games mirrors their daily lives even though there is a strict rule book, the characters end up revealing their true selves.
They are on a quest for an object which will keep the forest from being destroyed.
Their quest parallels their reality, which is their senior year and they won’t be able to play with this family that they found here in the woods.
They fear their responsibilities waiting outside the woods.
