When Johan Bergqvist writer/director 8 months
ago became a father it spawned the idea of a film in his head, an idea that
just did not want to go away. That idea he wanted to share with you and the
world, but how? The film needs to be feature length - and as we all know feature length
costs money! Well he called up all his old film budies and told them about the
idea, and they agreed this was a great idea it needs to be told. They all optioned
to work for nothing to bring the film to the audience that needs to hear it. With
this in mind the producing began and since Johan been a keen follower of the
ongoing digital revolution he thought that, well lets make it cheep by shooting
it on two or more of these, to cover more in every take and there will not be
any cost for film or development, and damn it actually looks good as well. The idea was what if unplesant person gets hold of baby, what could happen?
Short Synopsis
In the bleak northern
forest landscape of Scandinavia, a drug dealer by the name of M, on the run
from the law, gets into the position where he has to care for a baby. Using the
child as leverage, with the childs welfare in peril at every turn, he
navigates a tightrope of crime and his own temper, pursuing a deadline to
deliver a batch of drugs to his notorious boss. After which he plans to escape
the country and eliminate the child.

WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of advanced
enthusiasts and professionals that have gathered under the creative vision of
director/screenwriter Johan Bergqvist in order to bring this project to
life. In 2008 most of us worked together on th
e low budget zombie shortfilm Day
of Fools. However, this is a completely different ball park, and
this time we set the bar even higher, with some new additions to our team, in
order to get the right qualifications for making a film of this magnitude.
The TEAM so far:
Johan Bergqvist - Producer/Writer/Director
Filip Tegstedt - Cinematography
Joel Honeywell - Production Design
Miriam Krogevoll - Costume Design
Fredrik Blom - Musik
Ashley Zac Coyle - Make-up
Emma Bergsten - Producer
Pelle Pettersson - 1st AD
Joakim Bengtsdahl - 2nd AD
Anna Skoghammar - Production Assistant
Daniel Heldevik - Production Assistant
Linda Lundberg - Produktion Manager
UPDATE: THIS FILM WILL GET MADE.
We
have managed to get funding for most of the essential costs from an
outside sponsor. Don't let this discourage you from helping out, though,
since every penny we gather now will go towards the production and
making this film sound ultra-cracking!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHAT DO WE NEED?
1. We need extra money to hire name actors for the suporting roles in our films.
2. We want to have a proper sound mix done in 5.1 surround sound which is really expensive.
3. We would need the ability to hire extra grip equipment to highten the production value, such as clamps to attach the camera to cars, a crane etc.
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO HELP?
If you cant afford a donation
at this time, please spread the word about the project, as that would mean a
lot to us as well!
