OUR PROJECT
Have you ever had to ask a loved one to give you something they cherished most? This is a position no one wants to be in especially when that loved one is nearing the end of their life. Our film, HUNTER AND PRAYER, captures the moment when a son a filmmaker, asks his father a successful novelist, for the right to adapt his fathers greatest novel which he has kept sacred for his whole career. This conflict unearths tensions unknown to both men and a surprising resolution.
Our project is a Chapman University cycle film. Cycle films are professional-level film productions staffed by students and overseen by Chapman faculty. Many Chapman University cycle films have gone on to be successful internationally in film festivals and competitions.
WHERE IS YOUR MONEY GOING
This page is the hub for the production's fundraising campaign and all money raised will be specifically allocated to camera equipment, film stock, location fees, set design, and other costs necessary for the production of HUNTER AND PRAYER. Depending on the amount a donor gives, THERE MAY BE PERKS IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION.
If you want to help our cause, but cant afford to donate FEAR NOT! You can help us by sharing our page on Facebook, by e-mail, or even via Twitter. We really dont care how you do it, just GET THE WORD OUT!
