Our story
A story set over a summer in Melbourne City following two young artists, their hopes, expectations and unique moments shared with the people in this place they now call home. Featuring live performance's from the best of Melbourne's independent music scene, it is a snapshot of a time and place. What Makes Our Film unique?
Inspired by the Dogme 95 movement, working within limitations, our goal is to film every shot in one take.
Blurring the line between documentary and fiction, we aim to create a different type of film experience, capturing honest moments as they happen.
Filming in this way will reduce waste, save power and keep production costs low.
We aim to start a website to distribute this film and others, and experiment with new models for film distribution.
We believe in an open content model, and we will be releasing all raw footage under a creative commons license.
