Holly Handelman is part Sarah Silverman, part Jon Dore, and part Lambchop. She loves children, animals and the men she shouldn't. In spite of being a sock puppet in a family and a world of actual people, nobody, including her, has really noticed that she is smaller and more cotton-polyester blend than everyone else.

Holly always attempts to accomplish whatever mission is set before her, but every little thing can become a moment of wonder and/or celebration. Her energy, boy-craziness, and irrepressible enthusiasm always seem to get the best of her.

And now, her uptight, by-the-book sister, Samantha, who has little patience for Hollys joie de vivre, has run out of cream for her coffee!!!

BYOA Entertainment (Bring Your Own Awesome) is keeping the dream alive by producing Holly Handelman starring in Milk'd. BYOA is gettin' the band back together and hitting the streets with this guerrilla short film. The awesome BYOA team are working for the low, low price of free just so that they can party with Holly.

And when you contribute to Holly Handelman starring in Milk'd, you too get to join the party.

What you're paying for

Team BYOA is willing to work for free, but the equipment costs actual cash money. So,to bring this short film to life, we need $1500.00 to rent 2 fabulous Sony HD cameras, lights, and other film production goodies. We also need production insurance so the powers that be will let us rent the equipment.

What you get out of it

Your contribution will help bring a little slice of hilarious comedy to life and brighten the lives of people all over Vancouver and the world.

OK, maybe that's laying it of a little thick, but your money will help create a very funny short film starring a very funny little sock puppet and can't be a bad thing, right?

The Morning After...

After Holly Handelman starring in Milk'd has been shot and edited, it'll work the film festival circuit for a year or so before making it's way to the World Wide Interwebs.

Kevin and Mauri's past shorts have, and are, playing various festivals around the globe including Action on Film, CFCs ShortsNonStop, Palm Beach International Womens Film Festival, Vancouver Women in Film Festival,  Vancouver DSLR Film Festival, Seattle True Independent Film Festival, the Sexy International Paris Film Festival, and the Sexy International Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia.
