The History Hunter Story

He is a musician who travels the world with a strange little guitar. One day while playing this guitar he discovers a hidden compartment on the back.  When he is ?nally able to open it, written inside are the words: 'Insert story for its musical glory  He runs to the shelf and opens an old book, and out pops a story hiding inside. He swiftly grabs the story and throws it into the compartment of his little guitar.  The guitar jumps, jolts and lights up in a fantastic fashion and within a moment it begins to play a song about the story he stuck in!  He realizes that this little guitar can magically transform stories into songs.  He then grabs his hunting bag and spear and heads to the library.  In a forgotten corner of the library he ?nds a giant book called, The Book of World History. He opens the book and begins to hunt for stories. After his hunting bag was full he returns home and uses his magical guitar to transform the stories into songs which he shares with the world.  

The audience follows the History Hunter's magical journey into The Book of World History. They join him on his hunting adventure as he catches the hidden stories from page to page. Once in hand he unravels the story and ?nd himself magically transported through time and space, where he ends up face to face with true historical characters from around the world. From each encounter, he learns a powerful lesson about the human spirit.  

The Impact

The aspiration of the project is to introduce our world cultures in an encouraging manner using art, music and history. By taking a unique look at history through this multi-media project, children will be given the opportunity to learn about the world around them. We hope to bring The History Hunter into homes with CDs, sing-along picture book, and a Broadway-style musical.
