Our Story

The Tiques have just finished up work on a new 12" record called "A Man, Not  A Biography" which will be released in July.  The problem is, the recording process pretty much wiped out our bank account.  We love this record and we'd really like to promote it properly and make sure it's heard by as many folks as possible.  To do that we have a two pronged strategy:

First, we hit the road in July to spread the word, old school style.......playing all the way up to New York City, over to Chicago and down through Nashville and hitting as many cities as we can along the way..........and I'm sure you've all noticed the cost of gas these days.  On top of that, we need to rent a van and have money for hotels where we need them. And, oh yeah, we need to eat on the road.  

Secondly, we'd like to do a proper press campaign hitting up print magazines as well as music websites, to insure that we can find new fans and they can find us.  Without this, it's very hard these days to get your music into people's hands who don't know you......and to do it it right costs money.

We really feel that "A Man, Not A Biography" is our best work and we are excited to get it onto people's turntables (or into their CD players).  Your donations to this campaign will help us get the word out about it all over the world, and let everyone have a chance to check it out.

We're hoping to raise $2000 to help defray the costs of our July tour of the east coast and midwest, and to fund a press campaign.......but we'll make sure you get something in the deal!  We have all kinds of goodies for you......some not available anywhere else but through this campaign!
