The Cell Phone C.O.P.S. (Concern Over Public Safety) Story

I have invented a technology that will allow citizens to send photos, video & text to 9-1-1. Currently, if you take a photo of a crime or incident you currently cannot send it to 9-1-1 because not one 9-1-1 Communications Center globally can handle photos, video or text.

Of the 230,000,000 calls that are received by 9-1-1 annually in the USA, 7 out of 10 of these calls are generated from cell phones. This means 161 million call to   9-1-1 to 9-1-1 are made from cell phones. Also, 87% or 140,070,000 of the cells phones used to call 9-1-1 have cameras. These statistics speak to the missed opportunities that can help keep our communities safe. Yet, even with these staggering statistics there is not one 9-1-1 Communictions Center in the world that can receive photos, video or text. At least not until you help us get this technology in the right hands...

Basically, any citizen with a cell phone readily becomes a deterrent to crime...

Presently when a child goes missing it takes a minimum of 12 hours to issue an Amber Alert. Unfortunately the fate of a missing child is normally decided in the first 3 hours. With our technology the first officer on the scene can send a photo of the child out to all officers on patrol.

Imagine the impact if officers responding to a call could have a photo of a suspect on thier cell phone prior to arriving at the scene.

The Cell Phone C.O.P.S. Impact

Citizens in our communities will be able to send photos, video & text to 9-1-1 from their cell phones and officers on patrol will be able to receive a mass photo notification of a suspect or missing child on their cell phones within minute. 9-1-1 Call Takers will then be able to forward the photo or video to officers on patrol and even the cell phones of citizens.

We are looking to raise 50,000.00 + but will of course be able to use any amount raised. We have spent  all our personal savings in order to develop the technlogy to this point and in order for us to continue and bring the Cell Phone C.O.P.S. technology to market and get it into the hands of 9-1-1, law enforcement & our communities we definately need your help...
