Hi! I'm Jeffery Self.
I write, perform, and talk about Marcia Gay Harden way too often. I've decided to take all those things and combine them together for my new web series. I won't JUST talk about Marcia Gay Harden but every inch of the pop culture that I'm unhealthily obsessed with. That said, if I WERE going to talk about Marcia Gay Harden I'd tell you the story of when I met her in 2009. Lets just say ONE OF US was drinking too much red wine. And it wasn't Marcia Gay Harden.
My new show will be a hybrid of classic talk shows and 1980's children's TV like Pee Wee's Playhouse and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Each episode will feature a celebrity guest and some funny sketches. It'll be funny, weird, and your Dad might not get it.
Here's what I need! SOME HELP!
I need to rent a studio space, some sound/light/camera equipment, hire a director, get a website designed, and pay off the money Marcia Gay Harden loaned me when I got sorta out of control one night in 2009 (not really, I already paid her back)
If there's anything you can throw my way... a buck, two, ten, fifty, a gazillion. I'm trying to reach my goal of $2,500.
I'd love to see my show eventually make it to television and I think the internet is a good place to start. It worked once before when my friend Cole and I turned our VGL Boys videos into two seasons of "Jeffery and Cole Casserole" on the Logo Network.
