My dearest friends, family and lovely strangers (future friends!),
I was accepted to the graduate program at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts for this coming fall and am delighted with the opportunity to attend! I have long considered the opportunity to teach new and aspiring artists as one of my greatest hopes for the future, and to do this, I need to expand my own practice and go to graduate school.
I am confident that I have found the right school to expand and nurture my body of work.
The one drawback for me at the moment is the financial responsibility inherent in throwing myself back into school debts and uprooting myself to a new state. Although PAFA's fees and tuition are comparable to other programs, it is a small school, and they are not able to offer as much relief as larger state schools.
It is my greatest wish to attend PAFA and have the opportunity to profit from the wide range of successful artists that are teaching therein, and hope I will be able to study under Sidney Goodman before he retires and take advantage of Vincent Desiderio's talks and studio visits.

I am coming to you for help to make my dream come true!
In return for your help, I am offering some really great gifts: I will be printing up greeting cards on lovely, archival paper as well as small digital prints of some of my best and most recent drawings and paintings to share with you! I will also be making lovely handmade sketchbooks and albums with vintage or specialty covers and gorgeous, smooth artist quality papers. I am also offering some original, editioned etchings and lithographs I completed at Pratt as well as my contemporary work, which you can either chose from my website or come for a private studio visit where I will bake you a lovely cake and we can have tea and chat! Fun!

Thank you all so much for taking the time out to look at my project! I appreciate any pledge that you would be willing to give and hope you will take the time out to forward this page to your friends.
My very best,
Daria Souvorova
