This beautiful period piece brings to light the tensions of a family dealing with mental illness. This is the first feature film for festival favourite Canadian writer-director Shelagh Carter.
11-year old Sarah uses her creativity and inner strength to force her father to admit that something is wrong with her mother.

I think that this a story needing to be told, for all those whose family secrets were kept in the shadows, adding so much unneccessary pain to life with a family member dealing with mental illness.
