Our Story

"Why isn't there any good horror/comedy movies made these days like they used to be made in the 80s? Where are movies like Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, Teen Wolf, Evil Dead 2?" That was the question in my mind that eventually led to me sitting down and writing the script for Goodbye Light. A love letter to my childhood when I was obsessed with horror movies, especially comedy/horror movies. A story of two average guys in an extraordinary situation. Best friends who both run their own comic book store have their lives flipped around when one of them is bitten by, and slowly becomes a vampire.

Goodbye Light was originally filmed back in 2010. With a very low budget and limited resources. We always knew that with proper funding and resources the film could turn into something even better. So this is that situation. We have an extremely talented crew, an even better script, and all new resources at our disposal. All that is missing is that funding to make it work. 

After filming is completed we plan to hit the film festival circuit. Fantastic Fest, Fear Con, Phoenix Comic Con, Scream Fest, Slamdance, Texas Frightmare Weekend and more are all lined up on our list. As well as private screenings we plan on holding ourselves around the Phoenix AZ area.
