The world is being ravaged by the endless consumption and industrialization of humankind. But the Earth lives. It is a sentient entity, sleeping restlessly, and soon it will wake. We have become a part of the system that has grown cancerous and if the Earth is to survive, we must not. The epoch of Gaia has come.

GAIA_TheSeries is a web-based work of narrative fiction that will be delivered in twelve parts. Its goal is to tell an important and captivating story while simultaneously raising money to assist charities and organizations that protect nature, wildlife, and work effectively toward bettering the Earth.

HOW THE FUNDRAISING WORKS: The series' episodes are posted only as each funding goal is reached, and the funding goals are specific to the organization that is being featured for that episode. Once each goal amount is achieved, 50% goes directly to the featured organization and 50% goes to servicing the website or the production costs of the episodes themselves. The first funding goal is $2000: Half of which will be donated to The David Suzuki Foundation and the remaining proceeds will serve to help complete the series' website.
