My Story
Hello! My name is Friskey Brown. I am fund raising to create a 5 song demo recording followed by a CD release Birthday Variety Dinner Show at the Reservoir Lounge on May 18th 2011. It will be Magical!!
The Impact
I like to sing and perform. It makes me happy. This CD and CD Release Party will make you happy and hopefully inspire you a little too!What I Need & What You Get
I need at least $2500.Money to pay the amazing musicians backing me up. Gene Hardy (sax and slide whistle), Mitch Lewis (guitar)and Wes Neal (Bass), Great Bob Scott on drums and other guest artists will be joining in the fun as well.
So that includes rehearsal space/time, recording time and performance time. These boys are hard working professionals and I need to treat them right.
Money also goes towards the manufacturing of the CD's which includes cover art by Davey Fletcher. Advertising for the show, food for the guys and maybe a pretty dress for me;)
Dan's Pet Shop (Dan Turcotte) will be doing the recording. I've managed to cover that already under my made up label "Panda Paw Productions".
Any amount helps because I'm going to keep on truckin' until I get 'er done.
