I am creating a project that will reflect what life in Far Rockaway is like, the desolation, the desertion and the despair. Far Roc is no different from many “hoods” in the US but the blantant racism would be more recognized because it is in one of the largest boroughs in NYC and it’s in NYC. I will capture what life is like on the Roc from the OGs to the young kids who were born into the beef, to the wealthy folks with the Beach front properties, to the politicans that respresent Far Roc… everyone who has opinion I am interested in capturing it and having the world get a peek into the life of this far out place.
