Our Story
I have been living with Alzheimer's disease for the last two and a half decades ever since my grandmother and my mother were diagnosed. Through my years of personal experience with these two major influences in my life, I have learned a lot about what works best in the care of Alzheimer's patients and decided to make a documentary to share this knowledge with others who have found themselves in the same position. This doc is meant to be a practical and helpful guide to caregivers in the hopes of enhancing the time they have with their loved ones by focusing on what remains in them rather than by lamenting what has been lost. We'll also address preventative measures one can take to forestall or eliminate the triggering and progression of Alzheimer's in his /her own body.

The Impact
By the year 2020 around14 million Americans will be diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. In the absence of any confirmed causes or cures we have decided to focus on what we can do in the here and now to make life less challenging for those affected. There are many abilities that remain until the very final stages of the disease, particularly in the arts, that we will explore. With this knowledge many people will have a better understanding of how to live and deal with their loved ones so they can enhance their remaining time together. We also want to help those fearing becoming victims in their own future by sharing healthful information meant to empower them.

Almost everyone you talk to has someone in their family or circle of friends who is affected by Alzheimer's! Don't forget your share tools to make some noise on facebook and twitter. Thanks!!!
