Actress/Producer/Speaker Florence Regina, founded Soleil Films in June 2002. Soleil Films has several feature film and television projects in different stages of development and production. She recently optioned the screenplay INNOCENCE LOST. The feature length documentary, DIABETES AND ME, is now in post-production. Other projects in development include, TURNOVER, BON VOYAGE, OCTOBER 30th, and BILL SHAKESPEARE. Florence is partnered with Runaway Productions filmmaker, Linda Palmer. 

As an actress, her film, TV, and stage credits are numerous. Florence has also had several national commercial spots. She is noted as the woman dancing in the elevator with Ellen Degeneres in the American Express commercial, "Ellen Dance". 

She was born in Haiti and began working in the entertainment industry in New York as an actor whose stage credits include: Black Girl, Uncommon Women and Others, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide and several original plays and musicals done at theaters in NYC. She received an Artistic Director Award for best production for Yabo Yablonskis Cracks in the Sidewalk at the American Renegade Theater in Los Angeles. 

In October 2007 she produced the event, A Focus On International Short Films: An Evening Of Haitian Filmmaking for Women In Film/Los Angeles International committee and LA City Council President Eric Garcetti. She has booked top Entertainment Industry Executives for the Hollywood Networking Breakfast. 

Florence founded the group POWERRR (Professional Organization of Women Engaged in Results, Resources, and Renewal) in April 2007. She also founded Voices Of Change with Jill McWhirter, and Alex Silva in November 2009. One of the companys first projects will be Faces of Diabetes, bringing focus and awareness to diabetes through performances and scenarios. She travels and speaks to different groups about Diabetes Awareness and her experience. She spent 2 years as a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Diabetes Associations African-American Diabetes Task Force. Florence has also spoken at several events on their behalf. She has worked with the Los Angeles Latino 5 a Day Campaign and spoken on their behalf promoting healthy eating and healthy living. As a person with diabetes herself, she finds this very rewarding.

Up coming in June 2011 is Nou La Toujou! A Celebration of Haiti! An educational fundraising event, which is being produced by Soleil Films and Mothers For Africa. This event is being done to raise money for 5 Haitian based non-profits and to bring awareness about Haiti and its history.
