We are a group of people from all walks of life who have one issue in common. We trusted the drug manufacturers to be honest with us about the risks involved when we took their medications. We trusted the FDA to oversee this process. And we expected our physicians to have all the information about the medications they were prescribing. When all these supposed safeguards failed us and we were injured physically, emotionally,  financially, and or killed, we expected redress in our courts of law. What we discovered? If you kill someone you get free legal counsel. If you are killed by 'Big Pharma' you do not. As a matter of fact, your case can be literally thrown in the trash for 'lack of evidence' which really means you cannot afford a medical 'expert'. Contingency fees, we have discovered the hard way, do not cover this. Big Pharma's defendant law firms usually provide 15 or more 'experts'. They can afford it with all the profits they make overcharging you, me, Health Insurance Companies, Medicare and Medicaid. 

But we Cannot. In fact, ironically, you will probably find us on some sort of public assistance. The cost every lawmaker fusses about while passing laws giving Big Pharma even more impunity. Last year alone Big Pharma spent over $220 million on lobbying, employing over 1,100 lobbyists to 'spread it around'. Top recipient of $13.8 million in campaign contributions? Our President Obama, with a cool $1.2 million.

Big Pharma is a 'Dragon' we cannot fight alone. We need your help.

We presently need $100,000 to keep current cases from being dismissed from U.S Federal District Court. That's a lot of money for all of us, who would previously have considered ourselves middle class, being hard working and successful. Now, through no fault of our own, we are having to decide between such necessities as heat and food. Any Leftover funds will be held in escrow and be spent through careful review, on the next most needy cases. There are a lot of them. 

Hopelessness is an awful feeling when you have been violated in so many ways. Overwhelmed, families torn apart from staggering physical, emotional, and financial setbacks may not even know the cause until the victim is taken off the offending drug. With your donations, we will begin to turn the tide, sending a loud and clear message "We are human beings with rights, not just clinical test subjects or cash cows" for the 1%. Let us end the days of impunity for Big Pharma together, for truly United We Stand.  Every cent will be spent on redress in the court system for survivors of major injuries sustained by the negligence and fraud of Big Pharma.

When we don't hold Big Pharma accountable for causing harm, then we are the ones who have to pay in the form of higher insurance rates, medicare payments, medicaid payments, etc. at a time when we can least afford it.
