Our Story

I'm passionate about technology and since I discovered the world of Arduino I couldn't stop playing with it and inventing new projects.

Some months ago there was a post on Hackaday.com regarding the smallest Arduino board ever produced.

After getting in touch with the creator, he said he wasn't interested in mass production of the board but that I could've gone ahead with it by using the files he shared.

I thought such a board would be extremely handy to use in several project where miniaturization and light weight are a must.

If you share my same interest and you want a cheap and ultra-small version of this board, please support this project.

If the funding succeeds I am also planning to create a dedicate website through which I will retail this version of the board in 3,3V and 5V editions.

The Impact

This will make available one more version of Arduino boards to the general public and will increase the versatility of Arduino boards.

What We Need & What You Get

I have gone through estimations of costs for the production of the board.
The first batch will be either made in 5V or 3.3V edition. This in order to decrease the cost and assembly of the boards. I will keep you up to date whether this changes (e.g. if this founding has a lot of success I will let the users pick the version they prefer, otherwise I will choose by popular demand if the 3.3v or the 5v one is the most wanted and stick with the production of just one version).

The board is 20.7 x 15.2 mm.

You can learn more details about it HERE.

You will be able to get your hands on the first batch of boards.

The costs I will have to face are composed from:

Tooling 250

Setup per batch built  30

Plus cost of assembly, source parts and production of PCBs and postage.

In the unfortunate case the funding doesn't reach at least $2000, the realization of the smallest batch of boards won't be possible. I hope enough people will be interested in this project being alive :)

Other Ways You Can Help

You can help by donating money to found this project and spread the word about it in order to gain more resonance :)
